Access to mass media can facilitate social change, yet many women do not have access

Proportion of women who report having no access to television. Empirical analyses for this report using household survey data revealed that women with access to media (television and radio) also are less likely to accept norms around domestic violence. However, a large proportion of women (especially in rural areas) seldom have access to television.
